Golden Pass Seeks to Boost Capacity of Texas LNG Plant - Golden Pass LNG sought permission from U.S. federal energy regulators to boost the capacity of the company's $10 billion export terminal under construction in Texas to 18.1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) from 15.6 MTPA. The company said it would achieve the addition by "production efficiencies." (Reuters)

Occidental, Equinor Remove Non-Essential Workers from Gulf of Mexico - Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) and Norwegian state-oil company Equinor ASA (NYSE:EQNR) are removing non-essential workers from some Gulf of Mexico facilities ahead of Tropical Storm Cristobal, the companies said on Wednesday. Gulf of Mexico operations are continuing uninterrupted, the companies said. Equinor will shut-in production at its Titan oil platform and remove remaining workers on Friday if the storm continues along its projected path. (Reuters)

CRUDE OIL
U.S. Crude Stocks Decline - U.S. crude oil inventories fell by 2.1 million barrels for the week ending May 29 to 532.3 million barrels. Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, rose by 9.9 million barrels to 174.3 million barrels. U.S. gasoline stocks rose by 2.8 million barrels. (Reuters)
