Honda to Bring 100 New Jobs to Russells Point Plant in Ohio

The 200,000-square-foot expansion will allow Honda to introduce a third assembly line and new technologies for manufacturing improvements.

Once constructed, the necessary expansion will increase Honda's production of transmissions and create more than 100 new jobs. The plant will have 1,150 employees. Plans for rezoning and acquiring an additional 60 acres has been presented to Logan County. Upon approval by local officials, Honda will begin to execute expansion plans by the end of this year, with investments totaling more than $100 million. Facilities Manager Chris T.
