Florida Power & Light Company took the 802-megawatt (MW) Turkey Point 03 unit offline on March 1 at its Turkey Point Nuclear Power Station in Florida, after a unit trip that activated the reactor protection system; the unit remains in Mode 3, or "hot standby" mode, with the normal electrical lineups. The cause is under investigation, and the unit is expected to be down only for a few days.

PSEG Nuclear LLC took 121 MW offline from the Hope Creek 01 unit, today, March 2, at its PSEG Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station in New Jersey. The unit is coasting down for an upcoming refueling outage on April 8 and operating at 90%. This event is expected to end April 7.

Exelon Generation Company LLC took 83.26 MW offline from the Quad Cities 01 unit, today, March 2, at its Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station in Illinois. The unit is powering down for refueling on March 15 and running at 91%. This event is expected to end March 14.
