India Aims to Boost Industrial Growth with New Gas Pipeline

The 1,650-kilometer pipeline aims to supply natural gas from the Mehsana region in Gujarat to the industrial states of Rajasthan and Punjab, which principally focus on ceramics, glass, metal casting and textile plants. The pipeline is in its final stages of development, and when commissioned in early 2022, will supply 42 metric standard cubic meters per day of natural gas to the region.
