Indonesia's PT Geo Dipa Begins Construction of 10-MW Geothermal Power Plant , an Industrial Info Market Brief

Among them, PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) has started construction of the first-ever small scale (small capacity) geothermal power plant, with a capacity of 10 megawatts (MW), in Wonosobo, Java Tengah. The project has been planned since 2012. It is expected to reach commercial operation by 2021.
The construction of the Wonosobo plant is one of the company's commitments as a state-owned geothermal enterprise and special mission vehicle under the Ministry of Finance. This has been carried out to support government's programs for the supply and utilization of geothermal power.
