Infinity Natural Resources Valued at $1.3 Billion in IPO - Appalachian exploration and production company Infinity Natural Resources (NYSE:INR) (Morgantown, West Virginia) was valued at $1.30 billion after its shares jumped nearly 11% in their New York Stock Exchange debut on Friday, underscoring a rebound in energy listings against the backdrop of a more fossil fuel-friendly Trump administration. Shares of Infinity opened at $22.16, above the initial public offering (IPO) price of $20 apiece. Infinity sold 13.25 million shares within the marketed range of $18 and $21 apiece to raise $265 million. (Reuters)

U.S. Oil Production Falls in November from Record-High October - U.S. crude oil production fell by 122,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) in November to 13.314 million BBL/d, down from a monthly record high of 13.436 million BBL/d in October, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its Petroleum Supply Monthly report on Friday. Product supplied of crude oil and petroleum, the EIA's way of measuring demand, fell by 775,000 BBL/d to 20.235 million BBL/d in November, the lowest since April 2024, the data showed. (Reuters)

Asian Spot LNG Prices Down at Lunar New Year Holiday - Asian spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices fell last week amid low demand during the Lunar New Year holiday in Asia, encouraging cargo diversions towards Europe where gas prices are at a 15-month high amid concerns over storage refilling. The average LNG price for March delivery into northeast Asia was at $13.80 per million British thermal units (mmBtu), down from $14/mmBtu the week before, industry sources estimated. (Reuters)
