Among the largest Pharma-Biotech projects underway in the U.S. is Novo Nordisk A/S' (NYSE:NVO) (Bagsværd, Denmark) grassroot insulin active pharmaceutical ingredient plant in Clayton, North Carolina, near the company's existing facility. Construction on the 833,000-square-foot facility began in late 2016, with Fluor Corporation (NYSE:FLR) (Irving, Texas) providing engineering, procurement and construction. Kreuger said, "There is so much happening within and to the Pharma-Bio Industry, it is sometimes difficult to discern just how the new initiatives and trends translate to project activity and opportunities. The rise of cellular therapies and facility investment across the globe will be discussed."
