The Mexican government has presented a 2020-2024 infrastructure investment program that aims at implementing a number of projects in different industrial sectors. In the Chemical Processing Industry, the program includes the reactivation of a fertilizers plant owned and operated by Pemex Petroquimica located in Ciudad Camargo, Chiguagua state. The reactivation project will demand an investment of about $7.3 Million and is expected to produce approximately 50,000 metric tons per year of urea used in the production of fertilizers. Pemex Petroquimica expects to secure the necessary capital in 2021 for the undertaking.
