Virgin Islands' St. Croix Refinery Set to Begin Fuel Deliveries Early Next Year - A $1.6 billion plan to refurbish the St. Croix oil refinery in the U.S. Virgin Islands is about 75% complete and could begin delivering fuel supplies early next year, company and government officials said this week. Oil Rises on China-U.S. Trade Deal Hopes - Oil rose above $62 a barrel on Thursday after China hinted at progress toward a trade deal with the United States, raising hopes for an end to a long dispute that has weighed on economic growth and demand for fuel. Brent crude rose 90 cents to $62.64 a barrel by 12:54 p.m. EST. West Texas Intermediate crude climbed $1.38 to $57.73. (Reuters)
