Both the expansion at the Hunterstown Station and the new Choctaw Station are each utilizing General Electric's (GE) new 184.4 megawatt (MW) natural gas-fired MS7251B combustion turbine/generators (CT) for the plants. These turbines are the first six Frame 7FB CT's that GE has manufactured. The first unit is presently being tested in Gettysburg. The design and engineering for both plants is being provided by Black & Veatch (Kansas City, Missouri).
