Samsung Biologics Constructing ADC Plant in South Korea

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Samsung Biologics (Songdo, South Korea) is constructing an antibody and drug conjugates (ADC) contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) plant in Yeonsu-gu, South Korea.

The project is aimed at proactively responding to the emerging next-generation ADC biotechnology market. Construction is underway on a bio campus site.

Samsung Biologics plans to secure technological competitiveness by signing a new CDO contract with LigaChem Biosciences, one of the representatives of ADC in Korea, to develop ADC treatments.
