In September, GS Caltex began a planned turnaround of the 1,653 million-pound-per-year Korea Mixed Feed Cracker (MFC) Unit at its chemicals plant in Yeosu, South Korea. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit in November. Also underway and along the same timeline is a debottleneck project aimed at increasing the unit capacity.
