Talen Energy Corporation, on December 19, took the 363-megawatt (MW) Brunner Island 01 unit offline due to a boiler tube leak at its Brunner Island Power Station in Pennsylvania. This event is expected to end December 22.

Helix Generation LLC has extended maintenance on the 235-MW Ironwood 01 CT/HRSG, 235-MW Ironwood 02 CT/HRSG and 230-MW Ironwood 01 ST units at its Ironwood Power Station in Pennsylvania. The restart now is expected December 29.

Compania de Generacion Valladolid S de RL de CV has rescheduled a major turbine inspection and other work on the 221.2-MW Valladolid III 03 ST, 184-MW Valladolid III 01 CT/HRSG and 184-MW Valladolid III 02 CT/HRSG units at its Central Termoelectrica Valladolid III plant in Yucatan, Mexico. The kickoff is expected January 5, with completion February 8.
