TRW Automotive Incorporated (Livonia, Michigan) is in the final stages of an expansion that will almost double its 58,000 square foot Garrett, Indiana, brake parts assembly plant. Engineering on the project was done by Donovan Engineering (Fort Wayne, Indiana) and the general contractor is Hartrich Construction, a division of Becknell, LLC (Champaign, Illinois). Becknell owns the building, which TRW leases from them.

TRW Automotive is a major worldwide supplier of automotive systems to major OEM's and for the aftermarket. TRW Automotive is in the process of being spun off by its parent TRW, Incorporated (NYSE:TRW) (Cleveland, Ohio), since the latter's takeover by Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) (Los Angeles, California).
