UAB VPA Cold Storage Plans New Food Distribution Facility in the South

Construction plans are being finalized to construct a 150,000 square foot cold storage building to continue the company's growth into the domestic food storage business.

V. Paulis & Associates, being a full service engineering and construction firm will handle all of the design work and construction management duties for the mulit-million project.

The state-of-the-art facility will have multiple shipping & receiving docks and utilize the latest technology in temperature control, cleanliness and security. Final approvals are expected soon and construction could begin as early as July of this year, with completion scheduled for the second or third quarter of 2004.

UAB VPA also has plans to construct an additional facility in the Atlanta area at a future date.

VPA has extensive experience in providing comprehensive designed cold storage facilities to the food industry. The company has been operating cold storage facilities for over 35 years and has recently completed construction of a new freezer facility in the Port of Klaipeda, Lithuania.
