Valero, Kinder Morgan Announce Completion of Gulf Coast Pipeline

The 141-mile pipeline will transport refined products from Norco, Louisiana, near Valero's St. Charles Refinery, to Plantation Pipe Line Company's refined products terminal in Collins, Mississippi, allowing the transmission of refined products throughout the eastern U.S. Kinder Morgan is 51% owner of Plantation Pipe Line. The $250 million pipeline will be able to transport 110,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) initially, which can be expanded to 200,000 BBL/d in the future.
