Market Coverage Criteria

Industrialinfo.com's coverage of the North American Power industry consists of Public Utilities, Private Energy Producers (PEP) and Industrial Energy Producers (IEP). We identify station details to include key management contacts, operating unit details, planned units, daily outages, major equipment details, plus capital and maintenance project activities. Coverage includes all power generating stations that produce five megawatts and greater. IEP activity spans across all industry segments, where privately-owned on-site power generation exists or is being planned for an industrial plant.

Plant Coverage
The Power industry plant database is made up of approximately 4,100 operating stations in North American representing over 14,000 unique key management contacts. Each plant record is continuously phone verified for quality assurance and accuracy throughout the year. Our coverage includes power stations with five megawatts generating capacity and greater.

Each Plant Profile Identifies:
  • Company ownership and parent company
  • Physical and mailing addresses,
  • Phone and fax numbers,
  • SIC descriptions,
  • Start-up Date
  • Union Status
  • Fuel Type
  • Key Management Contacts with Email addresses*

Each plant record includes up to 9 functional management contacts. Most contacts are identified on-site; however, we also provide corporate contacts in management positions if a particular responsibility is handled off-site. Corporate contacts are identified as “Off-Site,” whereas plant management contacts are marked with an “On-Site” status.

Plant Contacts include Functional Management Responsibilities for:

Plant Manager 3322   Safety Manager 3212
Maintenance Manager 3392   Utility Manager 3417
Purchasing Manager 3122   Information Technology Manager 1247
Engineering Manager 3311   Human Resources Manager 1386
Environmental Manager 3201   Total Unique Contacts 25610

*Email addresses are provided when available. We recommend obtaining permission from the contact before sending an email.

Track Various Phases of Development
In addition to operational (commissioned) plant coverage, information is available for new plants under development (precommissioned status), as well as closed, mothballed, or shuttered plant sites (decommissioned status).
