Market Coverage Criteria
International Power Market coverage consists of private and government owned/sponsored electric power stations with a minimum capacity of 20MW and greater, or a $5 million total investment value. Coverage also includes Industrial Energy Producers (IEP) which is power related projects at existing industrial plant sites that fall into the other international industries covered (Petroleum Refinery, Chemical Processing, & Metals & Minerals). IIR tracks only major capital expenditures valued at $5 million and greater for the industry. Stations utilizing Coal, Natural Gas, Fuel Oil, Renewable Energy, Wind and Nuclear fuels are predominately represented in our international activity.
