March Proves Pivotal for Alcoa's Business Transition Plan
SUGAR LAND--April 7, 2015--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Alcoa's (NYSE:AA) (New York) curtailment of the remaining 74,000 tonnes of aluminum smelting capacity at its Sao Luis facility in Brazil later this month will be the latest in a series of actions aimed at cutting upstream production costs while enhancing its downstream, value-added businesses.
