Europe Ethylene Turnarounds Down So Far in 2018

SUGAR LAND--June 1, 2018--Ethylene unit turnarounds across Europe have remained significantly below 2017 turnaround levels so far this year, while also well below the 5-year average. Much of the downtime identified for 2018 so far was the result of unplanned maintenance events in France, Serbia and Czech Republic. For the remainder of the year there are another dozen or more units planned to take scheduled downtime for maintenance equaling a combined 358 days offline.
