Tropical Storm Gordon made landfall about 40 miles west of Mobile, Alabama, early Wednesday morning. Winds did not exceed 74 miles per hour, the minimum speed to be classified as a hurricane. Little damage occurred to industrial infrastructure. Ports are back in full operation and intermodal/freight companies are operating normally. No petroleum refineries experienced any lost production as a result of the storm.
