SUGAR LAND--October 10, 2018--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Florida and other states along the U.S. Gulf Coast have been bracing for Hurricane Michael, which is working its way northward through the Gulf of Mexico, roughly along the western coast of the Florida peninsula. It had been forecast to reach Category 4 status Tuesday night before landfall, at which point it would bring storm surge flooding, destructive winds and flooding rainfall.
