Sonatrach, Total Polypropylene Joint Venture Selects Technology Licensor, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Sonatrach and Total's joint venture STEP (Sonatrach Total Enterprise Polymères) recently selected LyondellBasell's Spheripol technology for its 1.2 billion-pound-per-year polypropylene unit. Honeywell UOP C3 Oleflex is the official technology licensor. Honeywell UOP will perform basic engineering works. The project is worth approximately $2.5 billion.
