Cleveland-Cliffs announced a deal today to acquire the U.S. assets of ArcelorMittal. Scheduled to close during the last quarter of the year, the acquisition includes six steel making mills, eight finishing plants, two iron ore mining/pelletizing plants and three metallurgical coke manufacturing plants.
