Cheniere Energy signed a long-term sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with PetroChina Incorporated (NYSE:PTR) (Beijing, China). Deliveries will begin in 2026 for 1.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquefied natural gas sourced from U.S. shale basins and extend through 2050.
