Indonesian Miner to Expand Nickel Smelting Capacity
MANILA--October 31, 2022--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Indonesian state miner PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Jakarta), locally known as PT Antam, plans to increase nickel smelter capacity by 230,000 tons per year and grow its nickel sales by up to 10% in 2022.
PT Antam's target is to reach around 24,000 to 25,000 tons of ferronickel and nickel pig iron (NPI) products as the government increase export tax for nickel products by 2023.
