Automotive Stamping Company to Construct Plant in Grand Rapids

DVK Construction Incorporated (Calendonia, Michigan), who has handled five previous expansion projects for the company, is the general contractor for the $25 million project. AMDG Architects (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who also has a history with Ridgeview, designed the 225,000 square foot plant. Construction began early this spring and is expected to be completed in October, with production beginning in December.

The new plant is located on North Ridge Drive and Walker Avenue in Northwest Grand Rapids near the company's existing plant. Ridgeview has expanded several times over the past few years. A new plant was needed because of the lack of available land to expand current operations.

Founded in 1977, Ridgeview Industries manufactures a wide range of metal stampings and assemblies for the automotive and furniture industries.
