Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Incorporated; Houston, Texas). Site prep has begun for Cardinal Healths (NYSE:CAH)(Dublin, Ohio) $6.5 million project to build a new pharmaceutical distribution center in the city of Stafford, Texas, in Fort Bend County. Cardinal develops, manufactures, packages, and markets a variety of health care products. The company also develops drug-delivery technologies and distributes pharmaceuticals, medical-surgical, and laboratory supplies.
While this is Cardinals first venture into Fort Bend County, the company previously had a 75,000 square foot hospital supplies distribution center in the Woodlands, which they sold last year. The Fort Bend Economic Development Council worked closely with Cardinal to ease the permit process for the new project. Fort Bend County has been in the top 20 counties in the United States for economic excellence and population growth for the past fifteen years.
