China produced 330 million metric tons (MMT) of coal in June, a drop of 1.2% year over year, the National Bureau of Statistics of China said on Thursday.

China produced 330 million metric tons (MMT) of coal in June, a drop of 1.2% year over year, the National Bureau of Statistics of China said on Thursday. Meanwhile, last month's coal imports fell 6.7% to 25.29 MMT.
For the period of January through June, coal output was 1,810 MMT, an increase of 0.6% year over year. During this same period, imports increased 12.7% to 174 MMT, according to the bureau.
