Finnish company UPM Group and German company PCC SE plan to invest more than $500 million each in grassroot projects in Germany's Chemical Processing Industry. The new facilities are planned to begin construction in 2021, with a likely completion time of three years. Another investment is for more than $22 million by the company Pyrum Innovations ESC GmbH, for a tire recycling facility that is expected to be operational by the end of this year.
