Many of India's refiners are preparing to develop nitrogen facilities at their refineries over the next five years.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is planning nitrogen unit additions, each valued at $34 million, at three of its facilities, while Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is preparing to invest $32.6 million in four nitrogen unit additions at four separate refineries.
