International Paint Introduces Intertherm 898 CSA (Cold Spray Aluminum), a Superior Product for High-Heat Applications, a Feature of "Industry Today" on Industrialinfo.com

Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) will host special guest International Paint (Union, New Jersey), as part of this week's "Industry Today" webcast. International Paint, an AkzoNobel company and one of the world's leading providers of high-performance coatings and fireproofing materials, will introduce its latest development, Intertherm 898 CSA (Cold Spray Aluminum) in this guest appearance. This new and innovative product is based on an inorganic copolymer technology that not only offers high heat protection, but mitigates the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI).

International Paint has developed and perfected its CSA products with over eight years research and development plus several years of field trials to ensure a perfect product for the most demanding industrial applications. International Paint currently offers two CSA product lines, including Intertherm 751 CSA introduced last year with a focus on meeting the needs of the very demanding maintenance and repair market. Intertherm 751 CSA boasts several unique features including a high degree of surface tolerance for situations where full abrasive blasting is limited and in situ hot surface application for equipment still in operation at temperatures up to 250 degrees.

The most recent addition to International Paint's CSA offerings, CSA 898, is designed for the new construction market, particularly for pipe fabrication & OEM equipment coating. Replacing traditional two- and three-coat systems, Intertherm is capable of handling a wide range of operating temperatures from -265 to 1050 degrees Fahrenheit, insulated or uninsulated, with a single coat application.
