Latin America to See $1.6 Billion in Chemical Kickoffs in Second-Half 2020, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Industrial Info has confirmed a total of 442 chemical-processing projects, which have a total investment value of more than $1.6 million, are planning to begin construction in the second half of the year.

Almost 80% of the total investment will be in capital-spending projects, many of which were postponed due to COVID-19. These include 13 plants currently scheduled to begin construction. Around 178 maintenance projects also are planned to kick off in the second half.
