REFINING HIGHLIGHTS
PBF's 160,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) refinery in Toledo, Ohio, restarted its 79,000-BBL/d FCCU on May 15 at a 30% rate reduction, but its 80,000-BBL/d Crude 5 unit remains offline with no set restart date due to lower product demand.
Nayara Energy Limited has operated its 405,000-BBL/d Vadinar Refinery in India at approximately 90% capacity since May 15. The refinery previously was derated by 15% beginning April 28 due to low demand. The refinery is expected to gradually resume full throughput by May 30.
PETROCHEMICAL HIGHLIGHTS
PetroIneos Manufacturing Scotland Limited has cancelled a planned maintenance turnaround at its Grangemouth Olefins & Polymers Plant, U.K. The 2-month maintenance turnaround of its Ethylene KG Unit was scheduled to kick off in August 2020, but has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
