The Power Industry is anticipating the start-up of construction on a $75 million, 96 megawatt peaking power plant by Riverside Public Utilities this month. Construction is scheduled to take a year to complete.
Five projects in the Pulp, Paper, & Wood Industry total about $48 million for June kick-off spending. Hampton Lumber Mill will begin a $20 million sawmill modernization in Randal, Washington, and Georgia Pacific looks to do $10 million in capital improvements at their facility in Toledo, Oregon.
