Sinopec-SK (Wuhan) Petrochemical's ethylene unit expansion project, at its Wuhan (Hongshan) Petrochemical Complex, starts up this week. The expansion will increase the ethylene production capacity from 800,000 metric tons per year to 1.1 million metric tons per year at the site. The cracking furnace was designed by Sinopec.
