The 150,000 barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Petromonagas Upgrader, which restarted in early July after being forced to shut down the second week of May due to Venezuela´s financial constraints, restrictions and COVID-19, is now operating at 40% to 50% of total capacity. The 248,000-BBL/d Petropiar Upgrader was restarted in the second week of July after being kept offline since June 14 due to inventory controls. The whole plant is processing a total of 80,000 BBL/d. The 240,000 BBL/d Petrocedeno Upgrader continues to operate at minimum rates due to financial restrictions and COVID-19.
