Kitimat LNG, a joint-venture between Chevron Canada and Woodside Energy, has filed with Canada's National Energy Board to double the size of its planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in British Columbia. The original plan was designed to produce 10 million metric tons per year of LNG from two trains. The revised plans call for three trains, each producing 6 million metric tons per year for a total of 18 million metric tons.
