Canadian LNG Project Obtains New Investor, Better Possibility of Moving Forward

SUGAR LAND--June 1, 2018--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--LNG Canada (Kitimat, British Columbia), which is owned mostly by Royal Dutch Shell plc (NYSE:RDS.A) (The Hague, Netherlands), has received a new investor for its liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Kitimat. Malaysia's Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) (Kuala Lumpur) has agreed to become a 25% investor in the project, which was first announced in 2012, but like other Canadian LNG projects has been consistently delayed.
