SUGAR LAND--August 19, 2015--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Later this year, Competitive Power Ventures Incorporated (CPV) (Braintree, Massachusetts) plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for a firm to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for a 980-megawatt (MW), natural gas combined-cycle (NGCC) power plant that it wants to build in southwestern Pennsylvania. Assuming the developer secures all necessary permits, the CPV Fairview Energy Center could be operating in 2019.
