The year has been difficult for Colombia's Oil and Gas Industry. However, despite the complications, the onshore sector has achieved some important advances in 2020.

Ecopetrol, Colombia's state-controlled oil company, continues with its development program for Florena and Pauto fields in Casanare state. The crude oil and natural gas 2020 drilling program started as scheduled, and other projects, including plant modernizations, compressor unit additions, maintenance turnarounds and drilling programs, are moving forward.
