North America
Valero will perform a 28-day maintenance turnaround, in first-quarter 2021, of the 36,000-BBL/d Unicracker at its 240,000-BBL/d Bill Greehey Refining Complex in Corpus Christi, Texas. The event was previously planned for the first quarter of 2020.

Syncrude Canada remains on schedule to conduct a 50-day planned maintenance turnaround, starting April 3, of the 80,000-BBL/d Coker 8-2 unit at its 265,000-BBL/d Mildred Lake Oil Sands Upgrader and Refinery in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.

Pemex TRI began a 30-day planned turnaround, on March 1, of the 5,800-BBL/d methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) and 6,000-BBL/d propane de-asphalter (PDA) units at its 243,000-BBL/d Salamanca, Mexico, refinery.

International
Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company will perform a 45-day planned turnaround of the 160,000-BBL/d Crude 1 (CDU 1) unit, beginning March 15, at its 460,000-BBL/d Zhenhai Refinery in China. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit on April 28.

Saras Raffinerie Sarde SpA has kicked off a 60-day planned major maintenance turnaround at its 329,000-BBL/d Saras Refinery in Italy. The turnaround of four (and associated) units started today, March 4, and completion is expected in early May.

Total Refining & Chemicals is still producing at reduced rates at its 205,000-BBL/d Gonfreville Refinery in France, following a fire in the Crude D11 unit on December 14, 2019, which also affected the 27,000-BBL/d DSV 8 unit. Repairs and reconstruction of the units are kicking off in May, and are planned to last until around mid-October. The remaining processing units are producing at approximately 50% until the rebuild is complete.
