Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Incorporated; Houston, Texas) will host Aker Kværner (Houston, Texas) an affiliate of Aker Kværner ASA (Norway) as its special guest on Industrialinfo.com Radio, March 21, 2005, as part of Industry Today, a weekly Internet radio broadcast. Aker Kværner is a leading global provider of engineering and construction services, technology products, and integrated solutions. Aker Kværner's expertise spans a number of industries, including Oil & Gas production, Refining & Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology, Mining & Metals, Power Generation, and Pulp & Paper.
This special segment of Industry Today will feature Aker Kværner's focus on the growing number of LNG terminals planned globally and their ability to provide technology, resources, and solutions for this huge market. New LNG terminals and related facilities many times cost billions to construct, and Aker Kvaerner is equipped with the technology and resources to provide conceptual siting and capacity studies, E+P+C/M and Lump Sum construction services, FERC filings, and much more.
Last year, Aker Kværner entered an alliance with Linde and Statoil to develop cost-effective technology and solutions for the offshore production, storage, and offloading of liquefied natural gas (LNG), thus enabling the exploitation of larger gas fields in remote areas. Also in 2004, Aker Kværner and Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) established a consortium to offer turn-key design and construction of new onshore LNG receiving terminals in the USA and Canada. This partnership, combined with expertise in major industrial markets and a strong commitment to environmental, health, and safety, are only part of what makes Aker Kværner a leader in LNG development.
Join Greg Pepper, VP President LNG for Aker Kvaerner, along with Crazy Al of Industry Today to learn more about Aker Kvaener as an industry leader, employing 22,000 people in more than 30 countries. Tune In! Monday, March 21, 2005, at 10:30 am (EST) and discover how Chattanooga Boiler and Tank can immediately benefit your next tank project or maintenance turnaround.
