Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Barton Solvents Incorporated (Des Moines, Iowa) recently began construction on a chemical storage facility in El Dorado, Kansas. Upon completion, the facility will consist of a warehouse, loading docks, office space, and a tank farm with approximately 40 storage tanks.
Mechanical Systems Incorporated (Wichita, Kansas) provided the engineering services, while Dondlinger and Sons Construction Company (Wichita) is acting as the general contractor. This roughly $10 million dollar facility is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2011.
Barton Solvents is a wholesale distributor of such items as industrial chemicals, oils, surfactants and plasticizers, with facilities covering Kansas, Iowa and Wisconsin.
