China Huadian Signs Light Gas-Turbine Procurement Contract with GE for Four Distributed Energy Stations

"The signing of the procurement contract means that the cooperation between China Huadian and GE has made an important step in the distributed energy sector," said Deng Jianling, the vice president of China Huadian Corporation, at the signing ceremony. He expressed hopes that through close cooperation, the two companies would build demonstrative projects in the distributed energy sector and make active contributions to sustainable development worldwide. Darryl Wilson, the vice president of GE Energy and the general manager of the company's light gas turbine business, reviewed the cooperation between both parties and said he appreciated China Huadian's trust and support for GE. Wilson said he hoped to promote the development of China Huadian's distributed energy by using its technical advantage and its supply of quality products.
Prior to the signing ceremony, China Huadian and GE exchanged their ideas regarding further enhanced cooperation and exchange between both parties. The contract was signed by Wang Zhijun, the project manager of Huadian New Energy Company Limited (Beijing), which is the new energy flagship of China Huadian Corporation, and the general manager of GE Energy's light gas turbine product. According to the contract, GE will supply light gas turbines for China Huadian's four distributed energy station projects in Jiujiang, in Central China's Jiangxi province; Nanning (Huanancheng), in Guangxi autonomous region; Xingzhuang, in Shanghai; and the Jimei district in eastern China's Xiamen City.
