LNG
U.S. Regulators Approve Louisiana LNG Plant - U.S. energy regulators unanimously approved the Commonwealth LNG, LLC (Houston, Texas) liquefied natural gas (LNG) production plant on the Louisiana coast on Thursday. The Commonwealth LNG project, expected to export 8.4 million tonnes a year of liquefied natural gas from Cameron, Louisiana, was the first to be approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in more than two years. U.S. Drillers Add Rigs - The U.S. oil and gas rig count rose three to 782 in the week ending November 18, its highest since March 2020, energy services firm Baker Hughes Company (NYSE:BKR) (Houston, Texas) said. U.S. oil rigs rose one to 623 last week, their highest since March 2020, while gas rigs rose two to 157. (Reuters)

U.S. Natural Gas Producer BKV Files for IPO - Natural gas producer BKV Corporation (Denver, Colorado) filed for an initial public offering (IPO) in the U.S. on Friday. Reuters reported earlier this year that a listing may value BKV at up to $2 billion, including debt. BKV did not reveal the number of shares or the price range for its proposed offering. BKV plans to float its shares on the New York Stock Exchange and expects to trade under the ticker symbol "BKV." (Reuters)
