Expansion Plans Brewing at Craft Beer Facility in Ontario

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Creemore Springs Brewery Limited (Creemore, Ontario) hopes to retain its microbrewery status following a planned expansion next year. Creemore is awaiting zoning approval before proceeding with an expansion that will add 20,000 square feet to the company's 28,000-square-foot facility and will double the brewing capacity. Creemore currently produces approximately 1.3 million liters of craft beers annually.

In addition to the building, Creemore plans to erect a new grain silo and install a 14,000-gallon, 34-foot-tall stainless-steel water tank, and 10 fermentation tanks, capable of holding 16,000 gallons. Construction could begin by early next year, and the facility could be operational by the end of next year.

Creemore Springs was swallowed up by Molson Coors Canada in 2005.
