(Vevey, Switzerland), is nearing completion of a multi-million expansion at a facility in Hager City, Wisconsin. The company will install a second dryer and a spray-dryer tower, which is an 85-foot structure, and expand the current freezer to double capacity and hold meats from two to four days.

The Hager City facility manufactures propriety ingredients for eight domestic pet food factories and needed to expand freezer redundancy. Construction on the expansion began at the end of 2009 and is on schedule to be completed this fall.

Haskell Company (Jacksonville, Florida) was responsible for the design and construction of related building additions. Nestle subcontracted all the trades required for the refrigeration and installation of the processing equipment.
