PetroChina to Improve Yinchuan Refinery in Ningxia Province

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--PetroChina Ningxia Petrochemical Company, the refining subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation in northwestern China's Ningxia province, is spending more than US$52.7 million on 15 projects at its Yinchuan Refinery.

Projects set for the Yinchuan Refinery include upgrades and maintenance. The refinery is slated to perform a 45-day plantwide turnaround in June and July of 2024, with work set for major units such as the 100,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 2, the 52,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) 2, the 12,000-BBL/d Continuous Catalytic Reforming (CCR) 2 unit.
