Plans Developing to Increase Colorado Coal Generation by 92%

Developers of coal fuel generation have projected adding another ten units for about another 4,600 megawatts to come online between 2008 and 2013. The town of Lamar is currently doing a repowering for 18.3 MW utilizing a circulating fluidized-bed boiler at its power station due to come back online in 2008.
